A D-Flector Stone Guard is a specialized protective barrier mounted to the A-frame of your caravan, camper, boat, or jet ski trailer. It is designed to deflect stones and road debris down towards the road, preventing expensive damage like paint chips, cracked hulls, and punctured fittings (gas, water, or electrical).

- Mesh: Heavy-duty, UV-stabilized "Rip-Stop" PVC mesh.
- Mudflaps: 6mm to 8mm heavy-duty rubber to provide under-chassis protection.
Will a D-Flector Stone Guard fit my specific trailer?
Our guards are designed to be universal or highly adjustable. We offer various sizes and styles:
- Standard: Ideal for most flat-front caravans and campers.
- Centre-Cut: Specifically designed for trailers with centre-mounted jockey wheels or toolboxes.
- Boat & Jet Ski: Tailored widths and heights to suit different hull sizes.

What is the difference between the "Standard" and "Centre-Cut" models?
The Standard model has a continuous mesh panel. The Centre-Cut model features a notched design in the lower frame to provide clearance for accessories mounted in the middle of your A-frame, such as a jockey wheel or a large toolbox, without compromising protection.
Does the stone guard interfere with tight turns?
No. When installed correctly according to our guidelines, the D-Flector sits at an angle that allows for a full range of movement. You can perform "jackknife" turns or navigate tight caravan park corners without the guard hitting your tow vehicle.

Is drilling required for installation?
No! One of the best features of D-Flector is our "No-Drill" installation. The guard mounts securely to your A-frame using heavy-duty U-bolts and brackets provided in the kit. This preserves the structural integrity and warranty of your trailer frame.
How long does it take to install?
Most customers can complete the installation in 15–30 minutes with basic hand tools (like a socket set or wrench). Each kit comes with a comprehensive instruction manual.
Can I install it myself or do I need a professional?
D-Flector is designed as a DIY-friendly product. However, if you are uncomfortable with basic tool usage, any local caravan or trailer mechanic can easily fit it for you.
Do stones bounce back and hit my tow vehicle?
Our guards are engineered with a forward-facing angle. This ensures that stones hitting the mesh are deflected downward to the road surface, rather than bouncing back toward your rear window or tailgate.
How do I maintain and clean my stone guard?
Simply rinse the mesh and frame with fresh water after each trip to remove dust, salt, and road grime. For stubborn dirt, use mild soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid high-pressure washers directly on the mesh at close range.
Is the mesh replaceable?
Yes. While our rip-stop mesh is incredibly durable, we understand that years of heavy outback travel can take a toll. We sell replacement mesh covers and bungee sets separately so you don’t have to replace the entire frame.
Is the mesh cover hard to replace if it gets damaged?
Not at all! You do not need to buy a whole new frame. Our mesh covers are designed to be a "bolt-on" replacement:
- Remove the mudflaps and reflectors from the frame.
- Slide the old mesh off like a sleeve.
- Slide the new mesh on and secure it.
- Reattach your mudflaps. It usually takes less than 10 minutes.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this number on our website's "Track Order" section on the order page or through the courier's tracking system to monitor the delivery status.
What is the warranty on D-Flector products?
We stand by our quality. Most D-Flector Stone Guards come with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects and material failure under normal use.
What should I do if I receive a defective or incorrect item?
We’re sorry for the inconvenience! Please contact our support team within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and photos of the issue, and we’ll arrange for a replacement or refund as soon as possible.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically dispatched within 3-5 business days. Delivery within Australia generally takes additional 3–7 business days, depending on your location (WA, NT, and regional areas may take slightly longer).
